Leaves grow in the fibonacci pattern by the are arranged on their stems, they are aligned in a spiral, which is the fibonacci spiral. Fibonacci is also found in branches, the way they grow and how many appear and how the branch off each other is in the fibonacci numbers. From one branch, to another growing making two, and so on. Pinecones and pineapples spines are rotating around the core in the fibonacci spiral, and same with flowers. Flowers can also have their petals aligned in the spiral like in leaves. Inside fruits, the fruits, such as bananas and apples, are sectioned into fibonacci numbers. Fibonacci is also found in animals. For example, snail shells spiral in the fibonacci spiral, and starfish have five arms. Even on our human bodies, we have eight fingers in total, two hands, five fingers on each hand, three sections in those fingers, and one thumb. I think it is very interesting how much we can find fibonacci patterns in even the most normal and nonmathematical things.
