N.P. van der Meijs Program Coordinator M.L. Korterink Introduction 1 Introduction 2 An IEP consists of the following parts: 1. The programme core worth 6 credits, 2. A track core of three courses worth a minimum of 11 credits, 3. Specialisation courses worth a minimum of 19 credits, 4. Free electives worth a maximum of 15 credits, 5. A thesis project worth 45 credits, 6. If required, homologation courses, of which a maximum of 10 credits may be included in the IEP. In this case, the free electives part of the problem will be reduced by the included number of credits. The MSc EE program in Electrical Engineering (EE) and the MSc program in Computer Engineering (CE) are provided by the Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) faculty at TU Delft. The groups of the faculty contributing to these programs are all involved in cutting edge EE and/or CE related research. The program contains specialized contributions from other faculties throughout the university. The EE program offers the following tracks of study: Electrical Sustainable Energy (ESE) Microelectronics (ME) Signals and Systems (S&S) Telecommunications and Sensing Systems (TSS) The CE program is not divided into tracks. Both programs take 24 months and are fully conducted in. They offer challenging high-level education and research to talented students holding a suitable BSc degree in technology or science.
