INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 2-1. HOW TO ADJUST LEVEL 4 Raise Lower CAUTION ã The ventilating openings in the base area must not be obstructed by carpeting. ã Install the washing machine on a level and firm surface, and tilt should be less than 1˚ ã Wooden floors may need reinforcing to prevent the normal vibration which occurs with anunbalanced load. ã Do not install the washer on an inclined floor.Improper installation of the washer may cause noise and malfunctioning. 1 Installation area ã Install the washer on a firm, flatsurface. ã If the washer is installed on anunsuitable floor, it could makeconsiderable noise and vibrate.  23 Checking level ã Open the lid, check if the washer iscorrectly leveled by looking downfrom the top. If a gap is seenbetween the tub and drum, thewasher is not level. RightWrong No shims. It would be dangerous. If thefloor is that far from being level, it is a floorproblem and not a washer problem. Set Leveling feet ã Loosen the locknuts on 2 front levelingfeet until you can turn the feet with theincluded wrench. Turn clockwise toraise the washer or counterclockwiseto lower it. Checking slope ã If installation surface is tilted, thewasher will vibrate. Do not installon a sloping floor.
