The folder contains a wide range of items including printed materials such as posters, handbills, leaflets and tickets; press and magazine clippings; award certificates; and photographs. A great deal of the material documents the evolution of the dance party business operated by Victor Li and Richard Weiss from Sweatbox through to clubs such as Fruit, Famous and Lush. The items are housed in a black plastic Marbig A3 folder with clear plastic pages and large sheets of graph paper. A printed cardboard business card has been inserted into a clear plastic sleeve on the front cover and reads, 'victor li/creative director/d /m '. The name 'VICTOR' has been written in black ink on the far right of the card diagonally to the printed text. A cardboard card has been inserted into a clear plastic sleeve on the inside front cover and reads, 'VICTOR LI' in black ink. The words 'APPLIED/CAFÉ 69' in black ink has been crossed out. 'marbig/ref ' has been stamped in gold lettering on the lower right corner of the inside back cover and a store adhesive label with 'A3 DISPLAY BOOK/BLACK/ [bar code reader information]/ ' has been stuck to the lower right corner of the back cover. The event was humourlessly described as 'a one day symposium' organised by the 'Combined Union of Milliners' and the 'Gay Paddington Socialists'. 2009/6/-//3 Invitation and ticket, 'The Noise's' 6th Birthday Party at The Graphic Arts Club Auditorium, Chippendale, New South Wales, Special Broadcasting Service (SBS), Artarmon, New South Wales, Australia, 9 August 987 Invitation and ticket to the sixth birthday party for SBS's 'Noise' music program to be held on 9 August 987 in The Auditorium of The Graphic Arts Club in Chippendale, New South Wales. The party was described as a four hour gig featuring some of Australia's top bands and rap artists. It was intended that the party would be broadcast on 'Noise' on 20 September 987. The first side of the invitation/ticket featured the number '6' in black on a bright green background.
