Timeline for Publishing the 2016-2018 Catalog – Date Event December 18, 2015 Completer non-curricular catalog content review and approve recommended revisions.  See non-curricular catalog content timeline January 29, 2016  Recommended revisions to the non-curricular content completed in the draft 2016 - 18 Catalog  All 2015 program and course revisions and additions must be completely reviewed and approved through the curriculum management system workflow hierarchy.  Curriculum management system permissions will be locked.  Those entries returned to the originator and then not resubmitted through the system will be directed to the Out-of Cycle Curriculum process.  Resubmitted entries that have not been reviewed and approved through the entire workflow hierarchy or reviewed and returned to the originator, will be moved through the system as approved for entry into the Catalog. New!! Submit SAGE prerequisite updates to Academic Affairs office using the provided spreadsheet. February 5, 2016 Complete content migration from the curriculum management system to the unpublished catalog February 8, 2016 School Liaisons, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid and Advisement begin review of unpublished Catalog to confirm course and program entries match what was requested and approved through the curriculum management hierarchy. March 4, 2016  Complete review of unpublished Catalog to confirm course and program entries match what was requested and approved by the CCC through the curriculum management hierarchy.  Submit minor edits to Academic Curriculum Manager via unpublished Catalog screenshots. Week of March 7, 2016 School Liaisons present to Catalog Team minor edits matching the 2015 CCC course and program entries to the unpublished Catalog. Presentations should separate the truly minor edits like spelling errors from the minor edits that may take explanation like a formatting exception to the Standards and Styles Guide. The team will review all corrections but will move quickly through the minor edits saving time for items requiring discussion. Attendance by all team members or their representative is required. Dates and Order of Presentations: March 7-- BIT and AT, March 9—HWPS and SAGE, March 11—CHSS and MSE March 29, 2016 Catalog Team completes final review of the unpublished Catalog. March 28, 2016 Catalog published and ready to “go live” April 1, 2016 April 8, 2016 (This date may Approved NMHED Transfer Core Curriculum courses added to the AA/AS Gen Ed Core be changed to reflect the Curriculum List. NMHED timeline) Courses recommended for the AAS Gen Ed Core chart. This date has been removed as Discipline codes added to the General Electives Chart. NMHED is not accepting new courses for the Gen Ed Core. Wednesday, April 20th Last Catalog Corrections review meeting. Friday, April 22nd Catalog Corrections Process ends. Monday April 25th Completed Catalog in electronic format ready for Ellucian May 2, 2016 June 1, 2016 Update Faculty Roster on the webpage. (date that the Schedule of Classes is available online) June 8, 2016 Catalog Printed Catalog Team has decided not to provide centralized printing of the 2016 Catalog
